About the Artist

Maria Meri is a Master of Arts graduate from Brighton University, England. She lives in Finland. After many years of living and traveling abroad, her atelier nests among the forest and wild nature. Inspired by her travels around the globe, she brings vivid colors to life and combines them with childlike play with forms and rhythm.

Her artistic practice is rooted in a fascination with inner landscapes — dreamlike spaces where mythology, personal symbolism, and the natural world intertwine. Through expressive colour palettes and layered forms, Maria creates artworks that invite quiet reflection, emotional resonance, and a sense of magic.

Each piece begins intuitively, allowing imagery and meaning to emerge organically rather than being strictly planned. The works are not meant to explain themselves fully, but to leave space for the viewer’s own interpretations and stories.

Maria’s fine art prints are created to bring depth, atmosphere, and poetic presence into everyday spaces — small portals into a world slightly beyond the visible.
